Why you need Chronister, Fields, & Flake to serve you in your personal injury case

If you or a loved one has been injured in a personal injury accident, you need the assistance of an experienced Arkansas car accident attorney.  Chronister, Fields, and Flake, PLLC has been helping others just like you or your loved one for many years.  Rex W. Chronister began his own independent firm nearly 30 years ago with an emphasis on taking care of clients injured in personal injury accidents.  This focus was expanded when Andrew Flake joined the firm in 1992 and again with Megen Prewitt in 2007.  Each of these attorneys has—and continues—to keep their clients’ interests in the forefront as they each negotiate your claims with the insurance companies.

We work to serve each client individually

Rex, Andrew, and Megen understand that each case is unique and that each and every client is different which makes it vital to take a personalized, hands-on approach to each client.

Due to the uniqueness of each accident, we know it is imperative to research the facts of the accident.  This includes information such as analyzing relevant statutes; obtaining an accident report to review the mechanics of the accident, witness statements, whether drugs/alcohol were a factor, weather conditions, etc; the existence of insurance coverage by the other party; what kind of insurance coverage the client has to determine whether there are other resources available for recovery; insurance coverage for our client; and whether there is any pertinent medical history.  The information gleaned from these various resources will determine the best course of action for each individual case.  From there, we will lay out all of the information to you and recommend a course of action that best fits your case.

Approximately 95% of our personal injury cases are settled before going to jury trial.  Of those, most have settlements negotiated with the insurance company prior to suit being filed.  Rex, Andrew, and Megen prepare each case as if it were to proceed to trial but are prepared to recommend settling a case when that is in the clients’ best interests.

Make certain you receive appropriate medical treatment

For any injury received from a car accident, time is of the essence that you receive immediate and appropriate medical care.  Personal injury accidents can result in a wide range of injuries—from “soft tissue” to herniated discs to broken bones and everything in between!  We understand that for each individual, their own injury is painful and impacts their own daily life.  Each person’s injury requires specific medical care for treatment that may have a set end date, while some injuries will require treatment for extended, indefinite periods of time, and yet others may cause unalterable, permanent damage.

Pain from such injuries may last for an extended period of time that may result in restriction of physical activities and/or work restrictions.  Whether negotiating with an insurance company or presenting a case to a jury, it is necessary to have a written medical record of all treatment, injuries, prognosis, and/or the need for future treatment.  This is why we strongly encourage each client to receive a prompt diagnosis and follow through on the recommendations of the treating physician.

Each client’s recovery is personal to his/her case

The recovery each client is entitled to is based solely on his/her own case.  Arkansas law allows certain elements of recovery that may or may not apply to each person.  Rex, Andrew, and Megen will thoroughly review your case to make sure each available element of recovery is pursued.  These elements include recovery for medical bills (past and future) related to the accident, lost wages (past and future) related to the accident, scars and disfigurement, loss of quality of life, and pain and suffering.

No Win, No Fee

To ease your mind further once we take your case, if we are unable to reach a settlement or obtain a jury verdict in your favor, we collect NO FEE.  Preparing a case to present for settlement and on towards a jury trial involves various expenses and fees.  We are willing to carry the weight of those while working for you in an effort to resolve the case favorably for you.  This means at Chronister, Fields, & Flake, there is NO FEE due up front in personal injury cases.  You owe nothing until a recovery is made.  If no recovery is made, then you owe NO FEE.
